If your transaction is on hold due to an issue with your social security number, you should have received an email from Fundrise with information on how to resolve the issue.
Some potential issues:
- Your SSN being is entered incorrectly on your Fundirse account
- Your bank account has the wrong SSN on file
- The tax ID on your bank account is associated with a different person or business account
First, to ensure we have the accurate tax ID, please securely confirm the tax ID listed on your Fundrise account here.
Note: This link will only work for you if you initially entered an incorrect SSN.
Alternatively, you can link a new bank account that is associated with your SSN from your account settings and then update the associated bank account from the transactions page of your dashboard in order to resume processing your order.
