A public REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) equity investment entails buying shares in a publicly traded company that owns, operates, or finances income-generating real estate. As an exchange-listed security, public REIT equities offer investors a way to earn dividends from real estate profits without directly owning property. We may invest in public REIT equities for a number of reasons, including liquidity management or if there is a temporary pricing dislocation.
