Homebuilder finance is a type of fixed income investment that differs from traditional real estate debt. Instead of directly funding a builder's development project, this approach involves purchasing land and forming an agreement with a builder. Through this arrangement, the lender finances both the property’s acquisition and its initial development stages before construction begins. This strategy helps create a supply of developed lots ready for construction, efficiently utilizing the builder's capital. Like traditional real estate debt, homebuilder finance offers our investors the potential for attractive risk-adjusted returns through fixed interest payments.
