Your phone number is important for maintaining the security and operation of your Fundrise account. We use it to send verification codes for two-factor authentication (2FA), which helps protect your account. Additionally, having your phone number allows us to reach out directly if there are any issues with your account or transactions.

Providing your phone number for 2FA is optional. You can enable or disable this feature anytime by navigating to the Security page in your Profile and Preferences and clicking Edit next to Two-Factor Authentication.
