The National eFund plans to invest in housing in major US cities, specifically targeting first-time homebuyers. We expect to primarily make equity investments in homes, townhomes, and condominiums in urban areas with a high potential for growth over the coming years.
Invest in the urban housing shortage
Almost every major U.S. city is facing a housing shortage. Urban population numbers are swelling. An entire generation of city-dwelling millennials is looking to buy their first home. As a result, reasonably-priced housing in these areas is the exception, not the rule.
The National eFund aims to create value for investors by addressing the overwhelming demand for reasonably priced housing. We plan to build a portfolio of high-potential residential housing across multiple major U.S. markets.
Example project types
- Long-term “rental to sale”: we acquire a home which typically only needs minor renovations to make it tenantable. Then we rent the home out for seven to ten years before putting it on the market, with the goal of earning consistent cash flow while capturing any long-term price appreciation.
- Renovation: we acquire a home which is outdated or in disrepair, ideally well below market price. Then, we perform major renovations to bring it up to the standards of comparable homes in the area before listing it for sale, with the intention of earning a substantial profit.
