IRA accounts provide a tax-efficient way to save money for retirement. Depending on the type of IRA account (Traditional, Simple, Roth, or SEP), you may be able to deduct contributions on your tax return or earnings could potentially grow tax-deferred. Due to the illiquid nature of IRA investments, IRA accounts are well-suited for long-term real estate investing.
After surveying the market, we chose Millennium as our self-directed IRA partner because they offered the lowest fees and best technology integration out of the groups we negotiated with. We receive no payments or other compensation from Millennium. It is not an exclusive relationship, but we have found Millennium to be a very responsive and efficient partner.
The eREITs pay a 0.85% annual asset management fee for the service of sourcing, analyzing, acquiring, and managing the real estate projects. In addition, investors pay a 0.15% annual investment advisory fee, although this may be waived in certain circumstances.
As a Millennium investor you pay a competitive annual $75 fee per Fundrise eREIT, or an annual $125 fee if you choose to invest across multiple eREITs or through one of our investment plans.
Currently Individual Retirement Accounts are only eligible to invest in our eREIT products. You can either invest directly in an eREIT or according to one of our available investment plans.
