What do rising interest rates and inflation mean for the Fundrise portfolio?

Last week, Ben Miller, Fundrise Co-Founder and CEO, joined Cheddar News to share his thoughts on the value of Fundrise as part of a diversified portfolio, particularly in the current market environment.

As Ben explains, the recent performance of the financial markets — “the stock market is down 20 or 30%, crypto is down 60 or 70%” — helps underscore the value of Fundrise’s positive return so far this year. As he explains, “this market is waking people up to why you would want to invest in real estate.”

And, especially now, with interest rates having increased so quickly since the start of the year, Fundrise provides an affordable opportunity to access private market real estate.
