VCX charges an annual asset management fee of 1.85% for managing the fund and its underlying investments.
It is important to note that there are zero upfront sales or marketing fees, and the fund does not charge a "carried interest" or profit-sharing fee. In the case of many traditional venture capital funds, the standard fee structure is “2 & 20,” meaning the manager generally charges a 2% asset management fee, plus a 20% “carried interest” profit-sharing component.
As is the case with all Fundrise offerings, our goal is to provide an equal or better investment product to the best institutional investors but with substantially lower fees, passing the vast majority of those savings back to our investors.
