Fundrise investments are intended to be held long-term, as private investment funds take time to generate value.
Once you place an investment, it can take up to 5 business days (typically a week or 7 calendar days) to fully settle, at which time you will begin participating in potential returns.
Investors can then earn returns in two ways: Dividends and Appreciation.
Dividends can accrue in an investor’s account on a daily incremental basis after an investment settles.
On the other hand, appreciation is captured via periodic NAV updates to the investment funds in which you own shares. Our eREITs and eFund are expected to update their NAVs on a quarterly basis, while our Flagship Real Estate Fund, Income Real Estate Fund, and Innovation Fund update their NAVs daily.
Once invested, all returns can be tracked at any time on your Portfolio Page.
