Are there any costs associated with liquidating shares?

There may be penalties associated with liquidating your shares depending on the type of fund.

There are no penalties associated with liquidating shares of the Flagship Fund, the Income Fund and the Innovation Fund.

There may be penalties associated with liquidating your eREIT/eFund shares depending on how long you’ve held your shares and when your liquidation request is made. 

If you’ve held your eREIT or eFund shares for less than 5 years, there is a 1% approximate penalty (% of total share value) to liquidate early. If you’ve held these shares for over 5 years, there is no penalty to liquidate. 

You will also be provided an estimate of any penalties applied when submitting a liquidation request. 

The holding period for each investment begins when the investment settles, which you can confirm on the transactions tab of your dashboard. 

Liquidations on our platform are processed on a “First in, first out,” meaning the shares you’ve held the most amount of time will be liquidated first.
