What is a Custom Plan Allocation (Dynamic vs. Flat)?

Fundrise Pro members who have created a custom investment plan will have the ability to allocate future investments in one of two ways.

Dynamic allocation: Fundrise will use your custom investment plan as a target portfolio. If your current shareholdings do not match your custom investment plan, future investments will be weighted in order to meet your target. For example, investments will be more heavily weighted towards funds that are underweighted in your portfolio, and less weighted towards the funds that are overweighted in your portfolio.
Flat allocation: Each time you invest, your investments will match the percent allocation you have selected for your custom investment plan.

Please note, allocation preferences are only available to Fundrise Pro users with custom investment plans. A preference cannot be set for Fundrise standard investment plans.
